SHOOOOOOOTING STARRR!!!!!!!!

IT WAS SO EXCITING!!!!!!

let me start from e beginning... i was out drinking wif my sec sch frens and teacher (can u believe it? teacher!) at equinox (westin stamford). pause. must tell u... my teacher damn funky leh! she was at e counter, then she was telling e waitress "hi. i'm a teacher and im bringing my boys to look around. they wldnt b drinking so can u juz let them in?" hahaha funky rite? cos westin got age limit of 21 to go up e 60th storey bar... in e end they still dint relent :( so we were drinking at ground floor. anyway, all these is besides e point. lol.

after drinking, tianhan (my hostel rmmate. no. its e *other* one. not e pompidou - yuhui lookalike) missed his last bus. den he dun wanna take cab, so i ended up walking wif him n staying out whole night lor. we walked from city hall, den we walked to esplanade. (it was e 2nd time in one week i stayed overnight at esplanade/city area in *dat* shirt. e first time was prom)
it was quite fun, at least this time got him to accompany can talk. were talking all sorts of crap from extended family drama happenings to horror movies. we were sitting at e ledge next to e singapore river, facing each other. when suddenly, tianhan WIDE EYED AND POINTED AT SOMETHING BEHIND ME N STARTED SCREAMING "I SEE I SEE I SEE"

"A SHOOTING STAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"


when i turned around,




there was nothing :(

i sulked for a full 10mins because we were talking abt shooting stars and comets juz a moment before. very zhun rite? (btw, i was oso telling him abt halley's comet. its a comet dat returns every 76 years, and its last appearance was..... 1986!!! so if we live to 76years old, mayb we can haf class outing watch halley's comet. LOL) den i sulked cos obviously ive NEVER seen a shooting star, and him neither. BUT HE SO LUCKY GET TO SEE AND I DIDNT!!!!! so we lied down on e ledge, both facing up at e sky.

he described it as "its NOTHING like wad movies show. it was in e sky for less than a full second, but its very bright. its sort of like a 'V' flying, but it doesnt like fly across e entire sky. its juz a short distance for dat half a second, but its very bright and it can ONLY b a SHOOTING STAR!" den he made his wish. :)

den we started talking again, n i was telling him abt how im his lucky star, dat he got to see his first shooting star becos im around. and i was asking him about wad wish he made and stuff liddat lah. we lazed around a bit for e next 30mins, and i was thnkng, "i'll wan to see a shooting star and e northern lights before i die". den before i had e chance to thnk more dpressing stuff, when both me n tianhan were lying on our backs staring at e patch of sky directly above us,

WE SAW IT. I SAW IT. I SAW IT!!!!!!!!!!!
A SHOOOOTING STAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is unlike e one dat tianhan saw, but he agreed dat its more beautiful than e one dat he saw previously. it lasted for about slightly less than ONE SECOND. it appeared from among a cluster that we were both already staring at, and then it flew for ONE SECOND. it wasnt very fast, and it was VERY BRIGHT. i could very clearly see the head and the tail/trail that it left behind! the head was even brighter than most of e surrounding stars, but unlike stars, u could actually see dat its like a tiny little orb! it was bright light blue and it reminded me very much of fireworks! as in its e same trail n head thingy, except this is brighter, and theres only one head and tail!

in tianhan's words "I SERIOUSLY THOUGHT THE STAR FELL DOWN FROM E SKY!!!!!"

in dat ONE SECOND, i suddenly felt so complete.
we both jumped on to our feet and started jumping up and down and whacking each other and screaming shouting damn loudly "DID U SEE DAT DID U SEE DAT OH MY GOD I SAW A SHOOTING STAR I SAW A SHOOTING STAR A SHOOTING STAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

e feeling was pure ecstasy. seriously.
dat ONE SECOND.

and den after dat, tianhan started shouting "WISHWISHWISH"

and i was like "OH DAMN I FORGOT"

den i immediately made my wish!


and it was a simple, general wish.


i talked to tianhan, and it was e same as *his* first wish.
(second he had time to thnk already, so he was VERY specific)




i wish dat im happy.
