Hi guys!

while our dearest NS men-to-be are biaing so hard out in the jungles of pulau tekong, i was having fun in the 'jungles' of pulau ubin! how i miss outdoor life and i'm so glad to be back in it again! (oops.. alec must be wanting to kill me!) but sadly, i didn't lose a single kg.. much less 5! how the hell did you do it, alec?!?

it was so fun to be cycling around ubin... going up and down the slopes, visiting the forbidden quarries, drinking coconut juice... it was... fantastic! i had a super duper happy weekend! haha.. anyway... i was talking to sarah on the phone a few days ago and she was saying that all of us should wear red (or variations of red) for new year. hmms.. i sense a strong wave of violent objections coming but oh well.. i promised sarah i'll post her message on the class blog, so there goes.

school life is not bad, at least i have like half the day free for myself... but the kids can get super irritating at times and i just scream at them! haha... sometimes it's really funny how they can be sooo noisy one minute and silent the next. anyway i'm super duper tired now... shall go catch up on my sleep!!! =)

hey im here to help revive this blog!! haha mm kummie! i must say i nv really thot abt the not paying thing.. as in the implications on other pple.. yeah ur right now that we're earning money, we shud pay our rightful share.. thou i must admit im extremely stingy and cheapskate when it comes to these things! hahaha but orite.. i'll keep that in mind! mm and i think the reason why some of us arent really keen on paying "extra" is cos we ( i?) feel that some of these stuff are overpriced and the hawkers, in this case, are earning super supernormal profit oredi.. hence the unwillingness to pay.. haha but yup, point taken! =)

hmm i donno abt you guys, but im having an extremely good time now.. i mean, work can be tiring and stressful, but there really isnt much to worry abt it seems, thankfully.. back in school, theres owaes this nagging voice at the back of my head asking me to do my tutorials, study for block test, start on darn donne essays, revise for As and stuff like that.. now, the moment i leave work, there is not a single worry on my mind! no major worries at least.. haha yup so in conclusion =) life is quite good now.. okay i really really hope im not jinxing my happy life by talking abt it.. haha yup and i really hope all of u are getting along fine too! really..

Just a thot.

Hey, I think we all enjoyed ourselves on Friday, I definitely did, besides the fact that I ate some melted plastic. But I think we shud have paid according to the number of heads, not that im blamin anyone in particular, cuz we all (includin me) agreed on it. Now that we are working we shud realize how every cent is important, same with them, I dont think we would like to be shortchanged our wages. Just didn't feel too comfortable about that, hope you will take that into consideration. Thanks again for the great night.

actually this entry is more like a reply to zhenni's entry rather than an entry of my own.. but who cares right? as long as someone is filling up the 'pages' of this blog.. hehe... well, zhenni.. let me assure you that sec 1 students are not much different from pri school kids when it comes to handing up hw... plus they ask stupid questions just to annoy you! urgh! i have this super noisy class and i just lose my voice each time lesson with them is over! but i guess it beats yuhui's job as a form teacher... haha...

well... kaori wanted to go for steamboat during hari raya.. so u guys want? we can meet like around 6pm at Marina Bay MRT to eat steamboat... or if you guys want, we can go out before that.. but not much to do in groups in town.. unless we go shopping.. or KTV.. so guys, what are your opinions? if nothing, then i'll just stick to the steamboat one and pass msg soon... and yeps! Lets meet 9am on 13th to go Ms Fok's house!

heh its good that ya enjoy relief teaching shuying! i teach 2 classes and i love one but cant stand the other.. haha and the most irritating thing abt teaching stupid irritating primary school kids is that i hafta chase them for hw!!!!!!!! its super super super irritating!!! i'll spend like 20mins each day asking "who didn't hand in the nouns ws?? who didn't bring the parents letter?! xxx where is your hw?!".. arghhh

how's everyone doing? realised our class got really quite a few relief teachers! =) well, for me, i lurve the kids and i think they love me too! haha... so far so good... just that sometimes marking those stacks of maps can make me feel really drowsy! but oh well, i'm not complaining! at least my job is far better than sarah's call operator or jingyi's telemarketer... whatever it is.. hope everyone learn to love their jobs! haha...

yeah! lets meet to go ms fok's house on 13th... shall we meet earlier? like at 9am at clementi mrt? then we can go elsewhere in the noon mah... and oh yah.. can someone try to contact ms liaw and see if she wanna meet us at ms fok's house? =)

anyway, i realised my social circle is dwindling down to only qinlei, zhemin and the few other teachers from the humans department in my school and this is definitely NOT a good sign! i miss u guys! miss seeing everyone everyday! i even miss those "good morning, hwachong. here are the announcements for today..." haha... i miss the class bench!! i miss the cooked food store!! i miss the squash courts! man!

This entry's coming in a bit late since I haven't really had time the past few days to type any entries. But anyway, I'd just like to say that it was great seeing everyone's happy smiling faces at Sarah's house on January 1st! Was feeling very depressed and down the past few days (It may sound stupid but I actually cried that very same day because I was feeling so frustrated), but after seeing you guys I felt much, much better. And to think I probably only spent a total of like 5 minutes there... see what amazing cheerer-uppers (invented a new word!) you guys are? Maybe we should try patenting the 03A11 miracle cheerer-upper, guaranteed to bring warm and fuzzy feelings to even the grouchiest (as Shuying would often say I am) old geezers (which thankfully I am not). :) Was very touched that some of you (shan't say names, you know who you are. *hugs*) noticed that I wasn't feeling too good... though that may just be due to the fact that I'm a very transparent person and all my emotions show on my face. (Quite embarrassing to learn that you guys noticed how sulky I was being. *blush*)

(Hm, hope you guys understood what I was trying to say in that previous paragraph... after re-reading it I realised I'm being my usual loh-soh self and inserting superfluous comments in brackets everwhere [like this one! {haha, join in the bracket fun! }].)

Anyway, am really sorry I couldn't go for the party... it's because of me that all you guys had to wait till the very last minute to give out the presents, right? Sorry for prolonging the agony. *grin* Hope Jingyi liked my present... was afraid that she might not since it's a very unoriginal type of gift. (since people are always giving books as presents) And thanks for your oh-so-wonderful present, Yi Fong. I shall be sure to show it to all my other friends to show them just how narcissistic you are. :p And Pei Shan, aren't you jealous? Now I've got a grand total of SEVEN of your sweetie-pie's mug shots. (that's how many he hid in the wallet) Bet you don't have as many as me. :p Seriously, though, the laugh I got out of opening the present was really what I needed, so thanks very much to Yi Fong for that.

Oh, and is the Chinese New Year visit to Ms. Fok's house confirmed on 13th January? I hope it is, and also that everyone will be able to turn up since I missed being able to meet up with everyone on the 1st January party. If it is, (and it better be!) I can't wait for it. *beams*

And on another note: If ever I was in doubt of my "denser" status (which I never was), there's now a new piece of evidence to add to the already teeming mountain - I only just figured out that "gniyuhs" is "shuying" spelt backwards. 0_o Think it's probably also because I usually don't really bother checking the names that people sign off as since it's obvious who's talking from the entry, what with everyone's unique personality and all. :)(Speaking of which: Pei Shan, refer to the post where I gave instructions to soundblaster on how to change her sign-off name. Or were my instructions too difficult to understand? Since she doesn't seem to have been able to do it. Also, you might want to post your new hp number under a new entry as a draft [just click the "save as draft" button instead of "publish post"] so that only memebers of this blog can see it when they log in to post entries. That way you won't get weird freaks stumbling across the number online and messaging you porn or whatever. *grin*)

sometimes i wonder if its better to lead a dull boring life with no happy and memorable moments and with no pple entering ur life and changing it. at least when u say goodbye to that phase in life, it wont be so hard, with so much pain. don u jes hate that heavy sinking feeling in ur heart when its time to part, when u know u wont get to live those good old days, and see those very pple you spent all ur days with anymore. and it might be forever before the nex reunion.. or at least a, well, very long time.

feels really great to be able to see everyone again after we parted on prom night! just imagine! 2 years ago, we were all new members of 03a11 and we were brought into the geog room for the first time to meet our new classmates! and now? we're all working or going into NS! how fast!

really glad about today though i was kinda sad that this will be probably one of the last few outings in which majority *ahem* will turn up. but it was really fun! this must be one of the few successful potluck sessions! we had the real miso soup, sushi, drinks, ice cream, apple strudel which peishan helped to cut the apples, tofu cooked by chef yuhui, bbq chicken wing, mushroom with garlic.. and marshmallows! =D yummy with a great variety of food!

then there was the gift exchange and i really love my present! thanx yong huat! for some weird reason, i just thought of the time during block test when you said "the present you buy one arh? quite nice." man! i was jumping for joy! haha.. thanx for the top. i lurve it! lets do it again! haha.. just joking...

really! it's fun to see everyone again! we can meet up again after work! like how jingyi sarah yonghuat kaori all work near CBD area... and me qinlei and peishan are actually quite near each other.. and in case you din realise.. our class has got 4 relief teachers!!! =D so funky! oh well... work's gonna start in 2 days.. sian! meanwhile.. miss you guys loads!

So happy to be able to visit Sarah's house again and to enjoy the company of everyone and her really sweet family. Realized I haven't seen some of you for donkey years. I imagine the food was great, I wonder how Yuhui's tofu turned out, not on the kitchen floor I hope. Poor guy cut his finger!

Anyways feeling very glad that I could see all the familiar faces although with some unfamiliar eyebrows and hairdos, but its the same a11 family again! Lookin forward to the next time where I'll be able to stay for a longer time with everyone. Thanks Shuying for the hardwork making the bookmarks, I think we are all amazed. Also thanks Sarah and her family for their hospitality, one day I'll kidnap the family and make it mine. Have a splendid year ahead. All the best guys, try not to love your hair too much...
