i shall play my part in the blog revival project too! yup! i enjoyed myself at the bbq too... had fun having you guys over.. reading the part about how zhenni never left her seat is sure hilarious... imagine.. her just sitting there and eating eating and her tummy growing and growing.. it definitely sounds like something cancerous was expanding within her! -bahahaha!- and the name 'scary jelly' cracked me up too! reading our class blog is always so amusing!

and kaori.. please don't use anymore cheem words like 'hiatus'... do you know i had to go flip the dictionary to find out the exact meaning? -_-''' break then say 'break' lar! *bish* anyway... KTV sounds great.. but... but.. but... ZOO SOUNDS WAY BETTER! haha... zhenni! did you see that zoo commercial about the giraffes? it's so cute lar.. the way they kept banging each other's neck with their heads.. haha.. =D but i think this time round, it'd be pretty difficult to organise an outing huh? especially since everyone's probably going for orientation camps and stuff.. and sarah and yijun are going overseas for holidays... a calendar sounds great but i have absolutely no idea how to do that.. oh well.. good luck to my temporary welfare rep! haha...

hey! i'll join in the blog revival proj too! haha yes, the bbq was indeed vvv satisfying! esp the stingray! thanks to all the guys who helped bbq.. and shuying too of course.. and thanks to kaori sarah qinlei and peishan for helping me pour drinks at one pt or another.. hahahahaa i think my butt nv left the seat once i took my first bite of food.. hence my tummy.. muahhaa heyy but i did help prepare the stingray and prawns and scoop beehoon at the beginning k! haha yups everything was delicious! even sarahs scary jelly.. hehs yup and it was good fun too! esp the part where kaori shuying sarah and i took the photo at the pool.. where we tried to re-enact sarahs graceful fall into the pool at our sentosa chalet.. hahahaa!

hahaa kaori, i seriously wouldnt mind going to the zoo you know.. they are bringing back the giraffes!!!!!!!!!!! haah but i could organise a ktv outing too! ehs lets go back to the one at chinatown! hmm but there are like no more holidays coming up soon right? does anyone propose any date in particular?

haven't been reading the class blog for so long tt i got a whole long page to read!!! ;) and i really think the new layout is fantastic ;) really like it though i think it will be easier to read if the font is bigger ;) reading the class blog and seeing everyone's entry really lifts me up ;) at least i dun feel so left out anymore ;) these few days been rotting at home with nothing to do and my stupid brother keep hogging the com so feeling a bit antisocial..sigh..now at home i got nothing to do except house work so everyday i make myself wake up at 11am so tt i have less time to waste away..
but then quite happy today cos' go out with shuying and went shopping ;) okie so i splurged but then i think retail theraphy really work...
okie now for my fans lets update u guys on what i've been doing ;) i just had a haircut then i everyday i stay at home only to go out for tuition to parents who are so anxious over their kids results makes me think a little of my own mum and dad..they were actually so worried for my future back then..feel so thankful towards all they have done een though i really hated all my tuition :p anyway..i am gg to smu and taking double degree that they offered me..business and economics..a bit sad that no one i know is gg to smu but then again i am money minded then smu offered to pay for my tuition fees so yup i'm gg there if u all gg then tell me k?? feeling a bit dumd also cos' accepted smu even before i saw the law letter frm nus :( gg to smu eventually but wanted to see how i did for the interview and test....sigh..guess i shouldn't be complaining..i'm such a bimbo ;) whatever ;)
oh yah..regarding the class outing ;) i'm free on vesak day and i really want to meet u guys again so yup ;) hope we can have a bbq at shuying's house then can swim and chat and have fun ;) there's mahjong at her house too ;)

finally mid years are over! that means no more invigilating.. (aka staring into blank space, trying to keep yourself awake without being able to do anythingg else for 2 hours) it's good money but it's super boring! anyway today they had some Create Integrate Differentiate (CID) paper and it was damn cool lar! it's like IQ test.. test their logic, reasoning ability and creativity. then there were some brain teasers so i sat down and did the paper too! it was so fun! i had an immense sense of accomplishment after i solved the puzzle! haha... then i walked around.. no one got the ans! haha.. (but of course, they were sec 1 kids).. and when i returned to staff room, some teachers were complaining they can't solve! haha.. i feel so proud of myself! i feel that i have revived my brain! *beams*

yes.. class outing... hmms.. since most people can't make it on sat.. why not lets have it on monday itself? that's 23rd and since it's a public holiday... there should be no work or camps so no excuses!!! ok? and we have the whole day so prob we can do more stuff... like... go sentosa??? haha... please??? anyway.. pls tell me if you are free on that day ok? 23rd monday. and peishan, i don't mind canoeing.. but why macritchie of all places?!? and i don't mind squash or badminton either... actually yj, i don't mind paying 5 bucks to play squash... just that we don't have the equipment... =S

As for the class outing on 21st... I can't make it since I'll be in New York from 14th to 24th May... going to see my brother graduate! (Am quite excited since I missed my sister's graduation last year due to block tests...) Man, it's kind of scary to think how everyone's growing older... we're all getting ready to go to Uni and my siblings are actually graduating! Before we know it, we'll all be old and grey and sitting in rocking chairs reminiscing about the good ol' days. :p BTW, Vesak Day's on the 23rd, right? So I can't make it either. ^_^;; But never mind lah, I'm sure my presence is not so important that I will be dearly missed anyway. *grin* Just make sure to take lots of pictures and blog about the class outing here so I can read about it! ^_^

Oh yeah, and I also noticed the picture on the newspaper was Miss Liaw. Laughed so hard when I saw it. :p And yup, it really made me miss the times when we used to whine at her and try to irritate the hell out of her just so that she could yell at us in exasperation and make the otherwise boring class more interesting. I really miss those days in HC with everyone... *sigh of nostalgia*

And I find all the relief teachers' comments very funny... especially since I think I'm one of those guilty students who writes all sorts of rubbish on her papers. I think Mr. White was probably very horrified at all my disgusting geog scripts... he used to give me these very worried looks when he handed our papers back and tell me that I had to try much harder. :p I also still remember the time when he gave us a spring test and there was this graph with the letters JFMAMJJASOND labelled on it. I was incredibly stupid and asked Zhen Ni "What do all these alphabets mean?" and she nearly died laughing and told me that they stood for the months of the year. *blush* So there you have it, proof that I'm a Geography moron. Not that there was any room for doubt anyway. So sad, I think I still can't really read maps properly. :p And to think I'm supposed to be a Geog student. To make things worse, I don't even know nuts about History. I remember Shuying recently said, "Do you know, I only just found out that Hitler and Stalin are from different countries?" and I was like 0_o since I didn't know that either. :p <------ hopeless case.

Oh yes, and one last thing before I forget - must thank Shuying for being so diligent and regularly updating our blog's layout! It's good to have some change once in a while. I would offer to make one for the class blog using class pictures or whatever but I don't really have much confidence in making a nice layout. And I don't really know whether you guys would want to see your faces plastered all over the page when you view the blog. :p

p/s PS: I'd like to play badminton with you too, just that it's very difficult to get courts. Sy, Kaori, Sarah and I tried to arrange a badminton session once but failed since we couldn't book courts. :p Any suggestions as to where we can play? I even tried checking out SICC for squash courts, but there's a charge of like $5 per guest. 0_o

so fast sia... its may! and e gers r going to uni n bcome our seniors... hu's going where har? i dint receive any letters yet leh :( mayb i hafta apply next year again!! i juz realised its been exactly 4 months since i entered army... it will b another 1 year 6 months to going back to nua-ing in bed, ponning lessons (and not get charged *erbs* or signing extra (ie do guard duty ie weekend dun go home). lets do a little bit of recap here.... (since my own blog is too dead for me to revive it haha i shall blog an entry here. *WARNING* beware of possible depression (no lah no lah) strange pinteresqueish language (dat im not bluffing) missing me so dearly (confirm stamp chop n guaranteed) ) haha

budden when e memories of *gulps* pain anger agony of last year fades, there is less reason to use army as an escape, n when u haf more n more fantastic memories of wonderful classmates n e silly stupid funny things we did, army becomes less n less appealing, until u reach e point of I JUZ WANNA GO HOOOOOMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

but ohwell. i dun feel like this everyday. only feel like this when we get 3 hours of sleep a day n when we hafta run. i hate running. n while im not exactly a slow runner, but im in this place called commmmmmmannnndoo and in a course called leeeeaddeer course where pple dun run. they sprint. wif 30kg on their bags. for 12km. and complete it in like 15mins. nah im kidding. but e idea is there. makes me wonder y i wanted to come this course in e first place n definitelydefinitely makes me dun wanna aim for commando ocs anymore. sometimes juz seriously wonder y i dun juz go b a clerk. budden ill thnk abt e pay, n e pride n honor in being a *thumps chest twice* COMMANDO! n e fun stuff we do like airborne. den it helps a bit.

btw, very sorry to all those who will never haf e chance to b paid to do parachuting, but i muz say dat, parachuting is b-o-ringgggg.. i mean, if a person like travels around e world every week, it will bcome boring for him too rite? for me, my latest jump (which was my 2nd jump. erbs), i was like 'ok its very windy. im very high up. can see very far. things very small. yawns when am i gonna reach e ground?' yeah. hahah

oh yah ill b going overseas! (can u see my enthusiasm..) tekong 2 weeks taiwan 3 weeks. which is equivalent to i wun b around all e way till last week of june. vesak day holiday ill b in tekong so i actually thnk dat i wun b able to join u pple on sat... mayb sunday but all of u will b gone :'( so ohwell.

since most of us are probably going for the NUS FASS talk on 21st (sat).. shall we have a class outing on that day? well... i have GENEROUSLY sacrificed my home sweet home for yall to come over and hang around.. well, i figured that the talk will probably end around 4 plus? so we can come over and have BBQ and yes, have a dip in the pool.. and then if you guys want, can stayover lar... hows that? do yall want? if you do please let me know asap so that i can book the BBQ pit.... sounds great???? *beams even more*

i wonder how the guys are doing in camp! esp huat! haven't seen him in a loonng time! and i haven't heard from yifong too.. i thought he's always super excited about all those stuff he does in camp... anyway.. i gotta tell you guys about my school! they're have mid years now and i'm always up for invigilation.. it's damn BORING.... like for 2 hours, you cannot do anything but stare at 38 kids do their papers... then i always think about our exam classroom and how that S7 guy kept clicking his pen... or that A12 person who kept shaking his leg... and the S6 geog people who keep asking for more paper!!! so irritating! and then how yuhui and i always end up doing the same paper! hmms... actually come to think of it, i prefer being the student to being the invigilator! haha.. call me mad. whatever!

and i was marking their geog scripts.. it was horrible, terrible, incorrigible... now i understand how mr white feels when he marks our paper!!!! i have totally ridiculous stuff... for example, for the qn "mark and name the landform found in the southern part of the singapore island which as the cable car terminal located on its summit"... i have splendid answers like "Mt Fuji" and "Mt Everest".... *roll eyes*.. sometimes their scripts can be so PAINFUL to mark!!! i dunno whether to cry or to laugh... reminds me of how mr white will always tell the class about our silly mistakes when he return papers... O_o

Oh yes, by the way, since some people seem to have problems logging in to blogger with their own accounts in order to post with their own names, and I'm too lazy to explain how to do it since SOME people didn't listen last time when I wrote about it *glares*, how about letting me create the accounts for you? So far that would be Sarah and PS right? And maybe I should make one for Yuhui too so that he doesn't have to use the 03A11 general account... So can you guys just give me your email addresses? Haha, oh my god, everytime I see the phrase "rotating knees" on this blog I just want to burst out laughing... the mental image of Sarah rotating her knees while trying to look sexy/sensuous is just too hilarious. :p

Anyway, speaking of driving... I recently had my first driving lesson! It was pretty fun though I was very nervous... thankfully I got a nice instructor who was very patient with me. It was kind of amusing, though, since during the "boring" parts where I had to just keep repeating the steps involved in changing gear etc., I could see him stifling yawns out of the corner of my eye. He must be bored stiff having to sit through the same thing over and over again every time he coaches new students. Even funnier, though, was how he'd sometimes freak out when I do something wrong and potentially dangerous. Well, ok, any other sane person would freak out too, but it's just funny to think that the instructor, who's supposed to save me us if anything goes wrong, gets freaked out really easily too. Maybe he's had too many bad experiences with lousy students like myself in the past. *grin* One time he freaked out was when I was practising driving forward and backward, but got so nervous that I accidentally let go off the clutch too fast and pressed the accelerator too hard and we started going forward REALLY fast, so much so that I thought I was going to crash into the cars in front of me. And the instructor was like, "The brake! The brake! No! You have to press the clutch first!" or something to that effect. *laughs* There was also this one time where I was practising doing left turns and turned too late and nearly crashed into the car in the next lane. XD So moral of the story, kids, is to never let me drive you anywhere if you value your lives. (Haha, for all you know I may be saying this as a ploy to ensure that in the future if I ever manage to pass the driving test and get a license, you guys will be too scared to ask me to give you a lift. :p)

Anyway, the reason why I decided to post an entry was because I wanted to ask if any of you are planning to take up driving at the Singapore Safety Driving Centre (the Yio Chu Kang one) but haven't signed up yet. Because I had this letter where, if I give it to a person newly registering, the SSDC will mail me a free $20 KFC voucher for successfully "recruiting" a new applicant. I was going to say that I would give the voucher to that person signing up since you guys all know how little I eat and so the voucher wouldn't be of much use to me, BUT I just re-read the letter and it says the promotion ended on 30th April. ^_^;; So much for THAT. :p

Well, I guess the only good thing that came out of it was that I finally posted an entry. Or maybe not in the case of you guys, since you all had to suffer through this thoroughly pointless entry - pointless because the entire point of this entry, the KFC vouchers, is no longer valid. :p In any case, anyone else besides PS learning driving? I know Kaori's taking her basic theory test sometime soon (or have you already taken it?)... anyone else?
